Part-Time Kitchen Hand

We’re looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Part-Time Kitchen Hand to join our busy café team in Sylvania.

If you have experience working in a quick-paced café or kitchen environment, enjoy working as part of a team, and have a genuine interest in food, we’d love to hear from you.

The Role

You’ll work closely with our kitchen team to help keep service running smoothly. Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting with the preparation and making of meals
Food preparation, including chopping, portioning and general kitchen prep• Keeping the kitchen clean, organised and running efficiently
Washing dishes and maintaining high standards of cleanliness
Assisting the chefs and café team during busy service periods
Helping with the development and preparation of upcoming specials and recent menu items
Bringing an awareness of current food and café trends and fresh ideas to the team

About You

We’re looking for someone who:
Has previous experience in a busy café or commercial kitchen




Works well under pressure and can keep up during busy service
Is reliable, punctual and takes pride in their work
Is organised and maintains high standards of hygiene and cleanliness• Works well independently and as part of a team
Has an interest in food and enjoys keeping up with current café and food trends• Is keen to contribute ideas and help us create exciting current specials

Part-time hours available, with the opportunity for additional shifts for the right person.
