Farley Riggs is looking for a reliable, hands-on person to join our workshop team in Edinburgh.

We're not necessarily looking for a qualified mechanic. We're looking for someone practical, with valuable mechanical aptitude, who enjoys working with their hands and isn't afraid to get stuck into different jobs.

What you'll be doing
Assisting with servicing, maintenance and repairs of equipment and machinery
Working with pumps, hoses, valves, vehicles and other industrial equipment
Preparing and checking equipment before it goes out to site
Sandblasting, surface preparation and painting when required
General workshop maintenance and equipment preparation
Working alongside the team to keep equipment safe and ready for use

What we're looking for
Previous hands-on experience in a workshop, mechanical, maintenance or similar setting




Confidence using hand tools and power tools
Valuable mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
Reliability, a good work ethic and attention to safety
Current driver's licence
White Card, or willingness to obtain one

Forklift experience or a trade qualification would be an advantage, but isn't essential.

Pay: $33.00 – $37.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week
