Queensland Government seeks teachers to join the Youth Education Team in Brisbane, delivering literacy and numeracy with a student-centred approach within a custodial workplace. Staff will be allocated base schools in Southport, Ipswich, Cairns, Mount Isa and Townsville and will work in pairs on site at watchhouses.

Induction tailored to this unique setting is provided, with adaptable 48‑week scheduling. Primary and secondary teachers are encouraged to apply; pre-service and graduate teachers
