We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Disability Support Worker to support a 54-year-old male NDIS participant living independently with a traumatic brain injury.

The role involves supporting his independence, daily routines and participation in the community. Experience supporting people with acquired brain injury is highly regarded.

Key responsibilities
Assist with daily living tasks, including meal preparation and light household duties.
Support access to appointments, shopping and community activities.
Encourage meaningful activities based on his interests, including beach outings and music.
Provide prompts and practical assistance with organisation and daily routines.
Follow his support plan, maintain accurate progress notes and report concerns.

Requirements
Relevant disability support experience, preferably with acquired or traumatic brain injury.
A patient,



respectful and person-centred approach.
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
Current First Aid and CPR certificates.
Driver’s licence and a reliable, insured vehicle for community access.
Australian work rights.

A Certificate III in Individual Support, Certificate IV in Disability or a related qualification is desirable.

Hours: To be discussed based on the participant’s needs and agreed schedule.

Start: As soon as onboarding is completed.
