Feedlot Operations Supervisor is responsible for organising the daily operations of the Feedlot Team (4 F/T).
You will be working closely with the Livestock Supply Chain Manager Greg Schuller.
Key responsibilities
Feed and Ration Management
Bunk Calls, Commodities Delivery
Feedlot/ Maintenance
Time Management and On Job Reviews
Weekly Roster, Manpower Planning
Qualifications and Experience
Prior experience in feedlot operations and quality ration delivery
Strong understanding of nutrition, ration mixing and bunk management
Leadership and team management skills
Ability to work long hours, including weekends in the team roster
Proficiency with record-keeping and feedlot management software is an asset
