We are seeking reliable and motivatedCleaning Shift Supervisors and Cleanersto join our team at a large retail outlet in Preston.
The Shift Supervisor role is hands-on and involves overseeing cleaning staff, maintaining high cleaning standards, coordinating daily operations and ensuring all work is completed in accordance with company requirements.
Supervise, coordinate and support cleaning staff.
Monitor staff attendance, performance and productivity.
Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks.
Ensure cleaning duties are completed to the required standard.
Provide staff training and guidance.
Ensure chemicals, equipment and machinery are used safely and correctly.
Address cleaning issues and implement corrective action.
Report operational matters to management.

About You
Previous commercial cleaning experience – essential.
Supervisory or team-leader experience – preferred.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Good knowledge of cleaning methods, chemicals and equipment.
Experience with pressure washing and walk-behind scrubbers – preferred.
Solid attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Reliable, organised and able to work independently.
