Queensland Corrective Services is seeking an Official Visitor Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander (Identified) to provide independent oversight for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in custody in Cairns, Australia.
The role operates under the Corrective Services Act **** and contributes impartial input on QCS decisions.
Official Visitors are rostered to attend an adult correctional centre at least once per month and are paid per completed shift.
