JOB DESCRIPTION:
Flavour Lounge is a privately owned Australian company conveniently situated in South Toowoomba, ****, Australia and the restaurant name is Flavour Lounge.
We offer quality exceptional food services.
We provide options for takeaway, dining in, and delivery services.
We are looking for a permanent full-time Cook to join our team.
The restaurant is at Shop 6, 2 Wilmot Street, South Toowoomba, Australia.
Competitive compensation based on experience and skill level.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Inspecting food items to ensure freshness and quality
Controlling temperatures of ovens, grills, and other cooking equipment
Preparing and cooking a variety of dishes
Adding seasoning to food during the cooking process
Portioning meals, plating, and adding sauces, gravies, and garnishes
Storing food in appropriate temperature-controlled environments




Preparing meals to accommodate special dietary needs
Assisting in menu planning and estimating food requirements
Supporting the training of kitchen staff and apprentices
ATTRIBUTES:
Minimum of 1-year relevant qualification,
Minimum 1 year experience in a relevant discipline is required,
Committed to adhere to safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries in the kitchen.
Job type: Full time, Permanent
Schedule: 8 hours shift
Ability to commute/relocate location: Shop 6, 2 Wilmot Street, South Toowoomba, ****, Australia.
Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required).
Experience: At least 1 year (Preferred)
