Role Summary

We are looking for a hands-on Senior QE with strong experience in Playwright-based UI automation and API automation. The person should be capable of designing maintainable automation frameworks, integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines, and owning quality across the end-to-end delivery lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop and maintain Playwright automation frameworks using TypeScript/JavaScript.
Build robust automation covering UI, API and end-to-end business flows.
Develop API automation for REST services, including request/response validation, authentication, negative scenarios and data-driven testing.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and enable reliable execution across environments.
Analyse automation failures and differentiate application defects from framework, environment and test-data issues.
Drive automation coverage across regression and critical business journeys.




Work closely with developers, product teams and QE members to build quality earlier in the lifecycle.
Review automation code and establish reusable coding and automation standards.
Mentor junior engineers while remaining strongly hands-on.

Must-Have Skills
7+ years of Quality Engineering / Test Automation experience
Strong hands-on experience with Playwright
Strong TypeScript / JavaScript programming skills
Robust API automation experience
REST API testing and automation
Experience with tools such as Postman / REST clients
Robust understanding of JSON, HTTP methods, headers, authentication and response validation
Experience building or enhancing automation frameworks from scratch
CI/CD integration using tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
Git/version-control experience
Valuable understanding of test design, debugging and defect analysis
Experience working in Agile delivery teams
