Salary: $75,000 + super

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Venue Manager to support the day-to-day operations of the venue and work closely with the Venue Manager to deliver an exceptional guest experience and maintain high standards of service.

The Role
Support the Venue Manager in the smooth daily operation of the venue




Lead and motivate front-of-house staff during service
Maintain high standards of service, presentation, and guest experience
Assist with staff training, onboarding, and performance management
Support rostering, wage control, and labour targets
Assist with ordering, stock control, and supplier relationships
Ensure compliance with OH&S;, food safety, and company procedures
About You
Minimum 2 years' experience in a supervisory or assistant management role
Solid service skills with a genuine passion for hospitality
Confident leading a team in a busy, service-focused environment
Solid understanding of wine (Italian wine knowledge highly regarded)
Organised, reliable, and calm under pressure
Willing and able to work weekends and evenings
