Having won numerous major projects in Queensland in the past 12 months, the head contractor is seeking a Project Engineer - Piling and Retaining Wall to lead engineering delivery of piling and retaining-wall works in a constrained workplace.

Key Responsibilities
Develop piling and retaining-wall methodologies, sequence plans, platforms, access and spoil management




Coordinate geotechnical and structural design, temporary works, proof testing, instrumentation and hold points
Verify existing services, exclusion zones, rail clearances and working-platform certification
Manage specialist subcontract procurement, production, quantities, submissions, variations and forecasts
Maintain pile, anchor, wall, test, survey and as-built records
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree in civil, structural, geotechnical or construction engineering
5-8 years' contractor experience including piling, ground engineering, retaining structures or heavy civil
Current construction induction card and valid driver's licence
Ability to obtain project-specific rail, site and medical competencies
Contractor-side experience with work packs, RFIs, ITPs, subcontractor coordination and progress measurement
Relocation packages on offer.
Australian experience is required.
