About the Role
We are currently seeking a reliable and safety-focused
Forklift
Operator / Labourer
to join our workshop-based team in Slade Point, Mackay QLD.
Reporting to the Workshop Manager, this hands-on role is responsible for safely operating forklifts and overhead cranes, receiving and dispatching goods, maintaining inventory, and providing workshop support for the assembly, maintenance, and refurbishment of mining and materials handling equipment.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong forklift experience who enjoys working in a busy workshop and warehouse workplace while contributing to the successful delivery of projects for the mining industry.
About You
You are a dependable and motivated team player who takes pride in working safely and maintaining high standards of quality and housekeeping.
Current Driver's Licence




Minimum 5 years' experience operating forklifts
Prior experience operating overhead cranes
Previous stores, warehouse, or workshop experience within mining, manufacturing, engineering, or materials handling industries
Strong commitment to workplace safety
Ability to perform manual handling and physical work
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Reliable work ethic with a willingness to support multiple areas of the business
