We are recruiting an AI Business Partner to lead the practical adoption, governance and scaling of AI across a national business.
This newly created position will suit someone who can confidently bridge the gap between business strategy and technology, working autonomously to establish priorities, build trusted relationships and create a roadmap for responsible AI adoption.
AI adoption is already occurring across the organisation, with teams actively exploring a variety of AI tools and solutions.
The challenge now is to bring structure, governance and scalability to these initiatives while ensuring security, compliance and commercial considerations.
This is not a software development role.
Rather, it requires someone who understands AI technologies well enough to evaluate, design and guide solutions, while partnering closely with business leaders and technical specialists.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with business leaders to identify, prioritise and evaluate AI use cases.
Assess AI opportunities from technical, operational, commercial, contractual and risk perspectives.
Support the testing, validation and rollout of AI solutions across multiple business areas.
Develop AI governance frameworks, standards, policies and guardrails.
Collaborate with IT, Cyber Security, Risk, Legal and operational stakeholders to ensure responsible AI adoption.
Evaluate emerging AI tools, platforms and vendors.
Provide guidance on AI security, privacy, data management and compliance considerations.

Establish repeatable frameworks for scaling successful AI initiatives.
Develop practical guidance, playbooks and best-practice documentation.
Build awareness, capability and confidence in AI across the organisation.
Support executive decision-making through clear recommendations and business cases.
Foster strong stakeholder relationships and act as a trusted advisor on AI-related matters
To be successful, you will bring a unique blend of business engagement, operational delivery and practical AI expertise.
You will likely have:
Experience leading or supporting AI, digital transformation, automation or technology-enabled business improvement initiatives.
Solid understanding of Generative AI, AI agents, workflow automation and emerging AI platforms.
Experience evaluating AI tools and understanding their practical application within complex organisations.
The ability to translate business problems into practical AI solutions.
Knowledge of AI governance, security, risk and compliance considerations.
Experience working across both technical and non-technical stakeholder groups.
Strong communication and influencing skills.
An ability to operate independently and create clarity in ambiguous environments.
Commercial acumen with the ability to assess value, effort, risk and return on investment.
Experience contributing to or leading AI pilots, proof-of-concepts or enterprise AI adoption programs.
