Supply Chain Coordinator (Purchasing and Planning)

This role will support the Procurement and Supply Chain Manager, and the supply chain team on multiple dimensions. The role's scope includes materials planning & scheduling, purchase order placement, material management & coordination. The individual will manage the entire end-to-end raw material stock holding efficiently & cost-effectively and ensure risk is identified, managed or mitigated.
Core Responsibilities
Coordinate and liaise with suppliers and manufacturing facilities.
Place and track purchase orders and liaise demand requirements with suppliers.
Material planning, scheduling and stock holding.
Support the supply chain of new products and modifications to existing product ranges.
Develop analytics, systems and data management capabilities, including metrics and reports.
Identify and proactively manage risk within the supply chain and escalat as required.
Understand and meet contractual obligations across assigned manufacturers and suppliers.
Maintain inventory integrity between SAP and 3PL platforms.
Manage stock on hand reports and stock shelf life.
Ensure all documentation is current and accurate.




Coordinate in all areas of production as required this may include exposure to all areas of supply chain and logistics.
General administrative duties and record keeping as required within the role.
To be successful in this role you will have
At least 2+ years' experience in a supply chain and purchasing.
Bachelor's degree, supply chain, logistic, business, commerce or related is desirable.
Experience in FMCG, infant category, dairy or food manufacturing industry is highly desirable.
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to priorities competing demands.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to build productive working relationships internally and externally
Commercial acumen and a customer-focused mindset.
Professional, approachable, and team-oriented attitude.
Ability to work independently and take initiative

Experience working with ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications.
