This practice supports 13 highly trained GPs, and is home to robust nursing and administrative teams.

About the role

We have a fantastic chance for a Practice Nurse (Registered Nurse) to join our team on a Full Time basis (Monday to Friday). Our ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a caring nature, high level communication skills, and attention to detail.

The Practice Nurse will:
Be experienced in the delivery of GP Management Plans, Team Care Arrangements, Health Assessments, CVC program, ECGs, Spirometry, urine testing, diabetes cycle of care, Asthma Management Plan, Comprehensive Medical Assessments
Participate in Quality Improvement Activities
Provide culturally appropriate assessments, therapeutic and education services for clients with chronic disease as required
Ensure that clients receive education on the use of therapies and treatments prescribed and feedback on the outcomes of therapy and treatment
Adhere to relevant professional Code of Ethics guidelines




A willingness to implement and adapt to change when required to advantage patients, staff, and the wider group
Provide general nursing support to the General Practitioners

About You
Full working rights in Australia
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse is essential
Demonstrated experience working in General Practice or a Primary Health care setting is preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong computer literacy
Ready to commence as soon as possible in Devonport, Tasmania - immediate start is available but exceptional applicants with a notice period are still encouraged to apply
