Take the next step in your leadership journey within a large and established aged care kitchen. Working alongside the Head Chef, you'll play a key role in delivering quality dining experiences while helping guide and develop a busy kitchen brigade.
What You'll Be Doing
Coordinate meal preparation across a large-scale kitchen operation
Support and supervise kitchen team members
Step into kitchen leadership responsibilities when the Head Chef is absent
Plan catering for functions and events
Develop menus that meet dietary, cultural and nutritional requirements
Manage stock control, ordering and storage of kitchen supplies
Maintain HACCP, food safety and allergen compliance standards




Monitor resident satisfaction and continuously improve service delivery
Coach and develop team members to build capability and performance
What You'll Bring
Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (minimum)
Food Safety Supervisor certification
Previous leadership experience within a commercial kitchen
Strong understanding of HACCP, allergen management and food safety compliance
Experience preparing meals for aged care residents
Knowledge of IDDSI and texture-modified diets
Ability to coordinate and lead a large kitchen team
Strong communication and organisational skills
Availability to work between 7:00am and 7:00pm as required
National Police Check (or willingness to obtain one)
