Sea Fuel is seeking a qualified and experienced Chef to join our kitchen team.

Key Responsibilities Plan and develop menus in consultation with management, considering customer preferences and seasonal ingredients.
Prepare, cook and present a variety of dishes to consistently high standards.
Monitor food quality throughout preparation, cooking and presentation.
Estimate food requirements and manage stock levels to minimise wastage.
Order ingredients and supplies while maintaining appropriate inventory levels.
Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety regulations.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of kitchen equipment and workstations.
Monitor portion sizes, food costs and kitchen operational efficiency.
Train and supervise kitchen staff in cooking techniques, food preparation and hygiene procedures.
Coordinate daily kitchen operations to ensure timely and efficient meal service.




Accommodate dietary requirements and customer requests where appropriate.
Qualifications and Experience AQF Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or an equivalent relevant qualification.
A minimum of 1-2 years of relevant professional experience is preferred.
Robust knowledge of commercial kitchen operations, food preparation and cooking techniques.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Sound understanding of Australian food safety and hygiene standards.
Robust communication, organisational and teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently and maintain consistent food quality.
