Rops Engineering Australia are an engineering business specialising in heavy vehicle body modifications and Roll Over / Falling Object Protective Structures, (ROPS and FOPS) for heavy vehicles.
We're looking for experienced individuals to join our team in Forrestdale in a Fitter position.
The successful applicants will have at least 2 years' experience working in similar role.
Duties for the Fitter role include
Assisting the Engineers with helping to update drawings and files to keep up to date with the latest vehicle changes
Interpret job cards and drawings to identify parts required for installation
Inspecting the finished work and maintenance of components and parts
Service and repair of necessary parts/machines




Installation of cranes and associated hardware, hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic
Disassembly and reassembly of vehicle components to install required hardware.
Use of power tools, battery operated and pneumatic tools, hand tools
Responsible for housekeeping and keeping work area free from hazards
We're looking for someone who is motivated, self-driven, has an interest in mechanical systems, and has experience working autonomously or as part of a team. A salary of $78,000 - $110,000 will be offered to the successful applicant for this role.
