Join a demolition project at the former West Wallsend Mine Site in NSW as an Excavator Operator.
In this role, you'll work on complex remediation and demolition activities within a decommissioned mining environment, partnering with a respected industry leader.
You'll operate a range of specialised attachments while contributing to large-scale demolition works, with competitive pay and robust opportunities for ongoing development.
What you'll be doing
Operating excavators fitted with hydraulic hammers, pulverisers, demolition grabs, shears and buckets
Demolishing and dismantling concrete structures, footings, slabs, buildings, conveyor systems and pipework
Processing demolition materials including steel separation, recycling and waste management
Loading trucks with demolition waste, concrete spoil, scrap metal and general fill
Working safely around underground and above-ground services while maintaining exclusion zones
What we're looking for




Current Order 45 Medical or willingness to obtain one
White Card and demonstrated excavator experience using demolition attachments
Previous experience operating excavators from 5T to 30T in demolition environments
Willingness to assist with labouring duties when required
Strong commitment to safety and ability to work around existing services
