We are seeking a Localization & Content Operations Specialist to support a children's digital content platform in Australia.
The role combines localization, content management, and operational support to ensure content and platform experiences are accurate, culturally relevant, and suitable for Australian audiences.Location: Sydney or Melbourne, AustraliaWork Arrangement: Primarily Remote (Occasional In-Person Meetings)Contract Duration: 6-12 MonthsCommitment: FreelanceKey ResponsibilitiesLocalization & Review: Translate, review, and adapt content, UI text, and scripts for linguistic accuracy and cultural relevance.Content Operations: Manage content catalogs, metadata, quality checks, content updates, and removals.Payment Operations: Support payment-related tasks using internal systems.Marketing Operations: Assist with setting up and monitoring marketing campaigns.Coordination:



Collaborate with cross-functional teams and handle ad-hoc operational tasks.RequirementsExperience in translation, localization, linguistic quality assurance (LQA), or reviewing localized UI and scripts.Robust command of English (Australia) and understanding of local cultural nuances.Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.Strong attention to detail, adaptability, and ability to work independently.Willingness to learn the required operation processes (training provided).
Preferred QualificationsExperience with children's content, educational materials, or family-oriented digital platforms.Familiarity with current trends in children's entertainment, digital content, and products in Australia.Experience in content operations, project coordination, or digital marketing support.
