If you're passionate about empowering others and making a genuine difference, we'd love to hear from you.As a Disability Support Worker, You'll:Mentor and support participants as well as junior staffAssist with rosters and day-to-day service deliveryFacilitate community engagement and build independenceProvide personal care, meal preparation, and appointment supportHelp men and women transition positively back into the communityAbout You:We're seeking enthusiastic, energetic, and self-motivated individuals to join Milestone Support Services.
You'll be passionate about social inclusion and committed to supporting people to live the life they choose.What We're Looking For:2+ years' experience in disability, mental health, or correctionsStrong leadership and problem-solving skillsGenuine passion for working with psychosocial disability (schizophrenia, bipolar, PTSD, intellectual disability)Current NDIS Worker Screening, Police Check, Driver's Licence, and insured vehicleNurses, Social Workers, and candidates with a valid WWCC are highly regardedYou're The Right Fit If You:Can provide support across all aspects of a participant's needsAre willing to travel across the Sydney regionBuild strong rapport with participants and families, with excellent communication skillsAre adaptable and available for shift workStay calm and proactive in challenging situationsUnderstand the importance of professional boundaries, confidentiality, privacy,
