About the role ARM Retail Pty Ltd is looking for an experienced and motivated Retail Manager to join our team in Yetholme, New South Wales.
This is a full-time position with a salary of $80,000 to $85,000 plus superannuation, depending on experience and suitability.You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our retail business, ensuring high standards of customer service, staff performance, stock control, merchandising, sales and store presentation.
You will work closely with business management to support sales growth, maintain effective store operations and lead the retail team.
What you'll do Manage daily retail store operations, including opening and closing proceduresSupervise, train, roster and support retail sales staffPrepare staff rosters to ensure appropriate coverage during trading hoursMaintain a high standard of customer service and resolve customer enquiries or complaints professionallyMonitor sales performance and implement practical strategies to improve sales and profitabilityManage stock ordering, receiving, pricing, inventory levels and stock rotationConduct regular stocktakes and investigate stock discrepancies, wastage or lossesEnsure merchandise is displayed attractively and in accordance with store standardsMonitor store cleanliness, safety,



security and overall presentationAssist with recruitment, onboarding and performance management of retail employeesEnsure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements, company procedures and relevant retail policiesPrepare or assist with sales, stock and operational reports for management About you To be considered for this role, you will have:At least one year of relevant retail management or retail supervisory experienceA Diploma of Management, Diploma of Leadership and Management, or another relevant management qualificationDemonstrated experience supervising staff and coordinating day-to-day retail operationsGood knowledge of stock control, inventory management, merchandising and retail sales proceduresStrong customer service and communication skillsThe ability to lead, motivate and manage a team in a busy retail environmentSound computer, administration and reporting skillsStrong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to work independently How to apply Apply using the form on this page with your current résumé and a brief cover letter addressing your relevant retail management experience and qualifications.
