Reporting to the R&DAdvanced; Controls Manager, you'll work within a small, innovativeteam developing embedded software solutions for connected waterheaters.
You'll contribute across the product lifecycle,



fromarchitecture and development through to testing, validation, anddeployment.Key Duties:Design and develop embedded software for connectedproductsDevelop modular software architectures and controlsystemsImplement and test software modulesCreate automated testing and validation solutionsEvaluate hardware and software platformsCollaborate with internal stakeholders to definerequirementsPresent technical concepts to both technical andnon-technical audiencesSupport continuous improvement and product innovationinitiativesAbout youYou'll bring experience in embedded software development and apassion for creating reliable, scalable connected products.Key Skills & Experience:Embedded software development experienceRTOS and embedded system architecture knowledgeExperience with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth technologiesUnderstanding of communication protocols including RS232,RS485, I2C and SPIStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and stakeholder engagementskillsESP32, STM32 or Renesas platforms experienceDesirable:Embedded Linux developmentOTA firmware update solutionsAWS or cloud-based IoT platformsMechatronics or electronics backgroundPlease note that applicants must have unrestricted workingrights in Australia.
