Vermont South Dental is seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team. This part-time role is based in Vermont South, VIC 3133 and will play a vital part in supporting our dental professionals and ensuring our patients receive exceptional care.

Key responsibilities
Assisting dentists during examinations and procedures by passing instruments, holding suction devices, and providing other support as needed
Sterilising and preparing instruments and equipment, ensuring compliance with infection control protocols
Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records, including charting and treatment notes
Educating patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
Providing a high level of customer service to all patients, addressing their needs and concerns
Undertaking administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing inventory

About you
Experience as a Dental Assistant, preferably in a similar role
A solid understanding of dental procedures and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced workplace




Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional demeanour
Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate patient records
Proficient in using dental equipment and software
