Medical Receptionist Full Time/Part Time/Casual
Axis Imaging is a family-owned diagnostic imaging clinic in Mickleham.
We opened in August **** and we're growing.
We're looking for a medical receptionist to join our front desk team for five days a week - Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, with some flexibility.
What the role actually involves: You'll be the first person patients see when they walk in, and the voice on the phone when they call.
You'll book appointments, take payments, send reports to referring GPs, and keep the waiting room running smoothly.
On a busy day it's fast - patients arriving, phones ringing, sonographers asking questions.
You need to stay calm, stay warm, and not drop the ball.
What we're looking for:
Previous experience in radiology or medical reception is ideal - if you've used Voyager, Karisma, or any RIS/PACS system, tell us




Minimum of 6 months medical reception experience is required
If you don't have radiology experience but you've worked in a GP clinic, dental practice, pharmacy, or similar - we'll teach you the rest
Genuinely warm with patients, especially older patients and people who are anxious about their scan
Comfortable with technology and able to learn new systems quickly
Reliable.
Casual doesn't mean flaky - we need someone our team can count on
Australian permanent residency is required for this position
