With an experienced Finance Manager in place, the business is now looking to strengthen its finance function with a capable Financial Accountant who enjoys being close to the numbers and the broader operation.
Your new roleReporting to the Finance Manager, you'll play a key role across financial accounting, reporting and analysis while supporting the continued improvement of finance processes.
Your responsibilities will include:
Month‐end reporting, journals and balance sheet reconciliations
Intercompany accounting and reconciliations
Supporting budgeting, forecasting and cash flow reporting
Maintaining the fixed asset register
Assisting with management reporting and financial analysis
Supporting audit, statutory and compliance requirements
Providing accurate financial information to operational stakeholders
Identifying opportunities to improve and automate finance processes

What you'll need to succeedYou'll be an experienced Financial Accountant who enjoys working in a hands‐on, commercially focused setting.
Ideally, you'll bring:
Strong financial accounting and month‐end experience
Excellent reconciliation and analytical skills
Experience with budgeting and financial reporting
Strong Excel skills and confidence learning accounting systems
Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach
The ability to communicate effectively with finance and non‐finance stakeholders
CA/CPA qualification, or progress towards qualification, will be highly regarded
Experience within a manufacturing, industrial, distribution or another operational environment would be advantageous.
