They are currently seeking a Payroll Lead/SME to come in and join their team on a 12 month temp contract with possible extensions.RequirementsProficiency with ADP payroll system (Essential)Proficiency in undertaking employee pay auditsExperience and KnowledgeExperience and knowledge around payroll remediation projectsPrevious payroll leadership experienceKey ResponsibilitiesEnd-to-End Payroll Management: Managing end-to-end payroll processing for a workforce of approximately 500 employees.Complex Payroll Processing: Processing complex payrolls incorporating overtime, specialized allowances, and penalty rates.Payroll Reconciliations & Payment Runs: Performing regular payroll reconciliations, validations, and executing payment runs.System Integrity & Reporting: Maintaining payroll system integrity, managing master data, and generating operational reports.Issue Resolution & Query Management: Investigating and resolving complex payroll queries, discrepancies, and compliance issues.Statutory Reporting & Submissions:



Managing STP submissions, superannuation, PAYG, and other required statutory reporting.Legislative & Award Compliance: Ensuring full compliance with the Fair Work Act, relevant Modern Awards, and payroll-related legislation.Stakeholder Collaboration: Partnering with HR and operational stakeholders on key payroll, policy, and compliance matters.Governance & Internal Controls: Establishing robust payroll governance frameworks and internal controls.Payroll Remediation: Leading payroll remediation activities and back-pay assessments where required.Team Guidance & Mentorship: Providing ongoing payroll training, mentoring, and procedural guidance to payroll team members.What's in it for you?
