Forward with Cuscal.As our Financial Crimes Analyst, you'll analyse complex data to identify, prevent and respond to fraud and emerging financial crime threats across payment and digital banking channels.
Working within our Financial Crime Analytics & Advisory team, you'll use data-driven insights to improve monitoring strategies, strengthen controls and support positive outcomes for Cuscal and our clients.You'll also make an impact by:Analysing transactional, behavioural and intelligence data to identify fraud and emerging financial crime risksDeveloping and optimising fraud detection rules across cards, digital wallets, real-time payments, PayTo, BPAY and Direct EntryConducting network analysis, merchant reviews and complex investigationsUsing Power BI, Databricks, SQL and Excel to identify trends and provide actionable insightsReviewing fraud controls and recommending improvements to strengthen detection capabilitiesMonitoring fraud detection performance including detection rates and false positive ratiosSupporting the implementation and validation of new data sets, AI models and machine learning modelsProviding insights on current fraud typologies and trends to internal stakeholders and clientsEscalating significant incidents,
