About the RoleDue to growing demand across key sectors, we're expanding our Brisbane team and seeking a Senior Power Systems Engineer to join us.
This permanent role offers the opportunity to work on both compelling and challenging projects.
Your daily tasks will include design development, complex analysis, creating technical documentation, report writing and collaborating directly with clients from concept through to commissioning.
Expect a balance of office-based design work and hands‐on site involvement including data collection, equipment configuration and testing, as well as troubleshooting and commissioning.Key ResponsibilitiesInterpreting client project requirements and preparing design documents and drawings, scopes of work, risk assessments and equipment specifications, etcCarrying out investigations, studies and detailed analysis of industrial, mining and utility power systemsManaging project schedules and budgetsWorking unsupervised and leading smallAssisting in the preparation of proposals and quotationsProviding coaching and mentoring for junior engineersAbout YouWe're looking for a seasoned engineer with strong design skills, practical field experience,



and a collaborative mindset.
We are looking for a candidate who brings:Proven ability to communicate and interface with a variety of stakeholders such as clients, management, peers, other disciplines, suppliers and installation contractorsAbility to manage small project teamsExperience in the preparation of design documentation including drawings, specifications, reports, scopes of work etcYou will be degree qualified in Electrical Engineering having extensive work experience in industrial power systemsYou will be or working towards an RPEQPreference will be given to engineers with 5 years of proven experience in power system analysis and designPermanent working rights in AustraliaDesirable Experience and SkillsStrong working knowledge of relevant Australian StandardsSignificant PTW and/or ETAP experienceDesign of industrial HV networks and associated protection systemsDesign experience for earthing and lightning protection systemsClient-focused with strong communication skillsExperience across a variety of Heavy IndustriesF
