We're looking for a Securities Specialist (EE) to help us:Process and reconcile cash and securities movements and positions to keep records accurateExecute processes and controls timely, accurately, and completely to support smooth day-to-day operationsInvestigate breaks and liaise with internal teams and external counterparties to resolve issues quicklyProcess transfers across equities, fixed income, funds, and other instruments to complete client transactionsIdentify inefficiencies and contribute to process improvements and automation to optimize workflowsUnderstand and manage operational risks and controls to reduce business impactThe teamYou'll be working in the Securities Settlement team, based in Sydney, Australia.
We process asset transfer requests accurately, efficiently, and on time, supported by strong controls and regulatory standards.
Our work spans international securities and cash transfers across multiple asset classes, partnering with custodians, counterparties, and internal teams to manage end-to-end processing and resolve exceptions.Your Skills And ExperienceTo succeed in this role, you bring:Hands-on delivery across securities settlement operations, including custody, settlement, clearing, and market infrastructure2–3 years in the financial industry supporting securities operations and asset transfer processesStrong investigation skills to resolve failed, unmatched, or delayed transactions using root cause analysisSolid risk and control awareness to meet internal standards and regulatory requirementsPractical execution of controls for asset ownership,



account validation, authorizations, and segregation of dutiesConfidence using Microsoft Excel to analyze data, reconcile breaks, and improve operational accuracyAbility to drive process improvement, automation, and digital workflow enhancements aligned to policiesSound judgment to validate AI outputs and maintain high attention to detailAbout UsUBS is a leading and truly global wealth manager and the leading universal bank in Switzerland.
