Senior financial reporting role within a leading resources business.
An opportunity is available for an experienced
Senior Financial Reporting Accountant
to join a large and complex organisation within the resources sector.
Working as part of a corporate finance function, this role will support group financial reporting, consolidations, technical accounting and governance activities, with a particular focus on half-year and year-end reporting requirements.
Key responsibilities
Support the preparation of half-year and annual financial reporting
Assist with group consolidations and associated reporting requirements
Provide technical accounting support and guidance across the business
Assist with the interpretation and application of IFRS/AASB accounting standards




Support financial statement preparation and statutory reporting requirements
Contribute to accounting policy and governance activities
Assist with the monitoring and effectiveness of internal financial controls
About you
CA/CPA qualified
Solid experience across financial reporting and consolidations
Sound technical knowledge of IFRS/AASB
Experience within a large, complex or multinational organisation highly regarded
Previous mining/resources experience advantageous
Experience using SAP or another large ERP system desirable
