About the RoleClarity Partners is looking for an experienced People Partner to join the Surface Mining division of a leading mining contractor with operations across Australia and Southeast Asia.Working as part of the People & Culture team, this role will partner closely with operational leaders to provide practical people solutions that support workforce capability, leadership effectiveness and a positive employee experience.The People Partner will provide trusted advice across a broad range of people matters, supporting leaders and teams across workforce planning, employee relations, performance, organisational development and other people initiatives aligned with operational and business priorities.Key ResponsibilitiesPartner with operational leaders to provide practical and commercially focused people adviceSupport workforce planning, capability development and talent initiativesProvide guidance on employee relations, performance management and workplace mattersCoach and support leaders in effective people management and leadership practicesSupport employee engagement, culture and capability initiativesProvide advice on employment legislation, industrial relations and company policiesUse people data and insights to identify workforce trends,



risks and opportunitiesSupport the implementation of people strategies aligned with operational and business objectivesPartner with leaders through organisational change and workforce initiativesContribute to broader People & Culture projects and continuous improvement initiativesIdentify opportunities to improve people processes, systems and ways of workingAbout YouProven experience in a People Partner, HR Business Partner or similar senior HR roleStrong generalist HR experience across employee relations, performance, workforce planning and organisational developmentExperience working within mining, resources or another operationally complex environmentExperience supporting operational, site-based or geographically dispersed workforces will be highly regardedSound knowledge of Australian employment legislation and industrial relationsConfident partnering with and influencing leaders at all levelsCommercially minded, with the ability to connect people initiatives to operational and business outcomesStrong communication, coaching and stakeholder management skillsPractical and solutions-focused, with solid judgement when managing sensitive people mattersRelevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business or a related disciplineWhy This RolePerth-based full-time position offering a $160,000 salaryPartner closely with operational leaders and have genuine influence on workforce and business outcomesWork across a diverse and operationally complex environmentContribute to People & Culture initiatives and continuous improvement across the business
