This full-time role is 38 hours a week, with applicable superannuation paid on top of your salary.We offer an exceptional dining experience with a focus on traditional and contemporary dishes.
Our commitment to quality, innovation and customer satisfaction has made us a beloved choice for locals and visitors alike.What you'll doYour duties will include, but are not limited to:Creating and updating menus that use seasonal ingredients and local produceCollaborating with management to develop special menus for events and promotionsPreparing and cooking a variety of dishes to high standards of quality and presentation, with attention to detailMonitoring portion sizes and consistency across all dishes servedLeading and supervising kitchen staff, and assisting with training in food preparation techniques,



safety and hygiene standardsManaging kitchen inventory and monitoring food costsMaintaining strict food safety and hygiene standardsAssisting in responding to customer feedbackStaying informed about culinary trends, experimenting with current recipes, and taking part in culinary events and workshopsPlanning and executing catering for special events and private partiesAbout youCertificate IV or higher in Commercial Cookery (three years of experience can be used in place of the qualification)About 1 year of experience in a relevant roleStrong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a teamA deep understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and proceduresExceptional communication and interpersonal skillsHow to applyApply through the form on this page with your resume and a cover letter outlining your suitability for the role, referring to your relevant experience and qualifications.
