Position: Civil Engineering Technician
Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 per annum + 12% Superannuation
Hours: 38 hours per week
Mode: Full time
Location: Sydney Metropolitan Area
Experience Required: Minimum 7 years of Work experience in similar role
Bright Balustrading - requires a Engineering Technician for ongoing construction and maintenance projects.
Duties and responsibilities:
•Assist in preparing project proposals, quote and documentation.
•Estimating the material, labour and other resources costs
•Preparing sketches, charts, tabulations, plans and designs for construction works
•Evaluating and validating construction materials' test reports
•Organizing and supervising work activities
•Interpreting work assignment instructions, applying appropriate procedures and selecting equipment




•Collecting and analysing data, and carrying out computations
•Examining construction project sites and arranging installation , maintenance and repair work and ensuring they are within specifications.
•Assessing actual material costs against the tender cost during the project construction phase.
The applicant must have.
•Minimum qualification: Tertiary Qualification in Civil Engineering
•Minimum 7 years of Work experience in similar role
•Sound discipline and effective communication skills
•Professional attitude and sound construction industry knowledge
•Willing to travel at different work sites or daily or regular basis
Annual Salary $90K to 110K plus Superannuation
