Applewood Residential Developments is the owner and operator of Applewood, an award-winning residential lifestyle community set on 25 acres of beautiful gardens in Doncaster.

We are seeking to appoint a full-time Gardener Supervisor to maintain our high standards of visual presentation. The position will be 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

In this role, you will be responsible for:
Maintaining all Village gardens and grounds by carrying out general gardening and groundskeeping activities. Specifically: weed control, mulching, planting, litter control, turf maintenance, and other general maintenance duties;
Supporting the gardening team when the Head Gardener is unavailable;
Ensuring resident garden maintenance requests are completed within agreed time frames;
Applying fertilisers, fungicides, herbicides and insecticides within WH&S; regulatory requirements;
Curating gardens to the defined standard;
Trimming trees, cutting grass, watering plants and other gardening duties as defined; and




Removing cuttings, raking leaves, cleaning/emptying litter bins, cleaning gutters/drains/culverts.

The successful candidate will possess the following skills & experience:
A self-starter who can work independently
A solid customer service orientation and the ability to interact effectively with an over-55 demographic
Ability to work efficiently with other staff as part of a small team
Ability to deal with questions and complaints efficiently and effectively whilst maintaining positive customer relations
Physical fitness and preparedness for hard work
A driver's license and current police check (can be obtained prior to commencement) are mandatory requirements for this position.
