Malatesta Road Paving & Hot Mix is a South West regional company, based in Bunbury, that has been providing services for civil contracting, state and local government and the local community for nearly 50 years.
The Position:
We currently have an prospect for a Gatehouse Officer / Groundskeeper to start immediately. This is a permanent full time role, Monday to Friday work, on an hourly rate with penalties. Responsibilities include;
Recording vehicle movements on and off site
Recording green waste intake
Basic customer service - assisting with the sale of mulches, aggregates, and bituminous products
Mowing, watering and maintaining lawns and gardens
Essential Criteria:
The successful candidates must have:
White/Blue Card
C-Class Drivers Licence
Solid work ethic
Physically fit
Punctual and reliable
It would be advantageous to have:
Previous experience in the asphalt/bituminous surfacing industry
Previous experience operating heavy machinery
Previous experience in landscaping or lawnmowing operations
Basic cash handling skills
The pre-employment check involves obtaining a a drug and alcohol screening.
