4-month temp role with potential to extend
$50 - $65 Per Hour + Super

This well-established global consumer business has a strong presence across Australia and New Zealand, backed by a large international group with operations across multiple markets. The business offers a collaborative environment and robust exposure across the broader finance function.

An opportunity has arisen for a Financial Accountant to join the team on an initial 4-month contract, with the possibility of extension. The role will take ownership of the day-to-day accounting function across the Australian and Recent Zealand business. Responsibilities will include:
Managing month-end reporting and close
Preparing journals, accruals and prepayments
Completing bank and balance sheet reconciliations
Maintaining general ledger integrity
Supporting financial analysis and cost monitoring
Preparing BAS, IAS and FBT
Supporting year-end and audit requirements




Managing intercompany reconciliations and transactions
Supporting accounts payable and accounts receivable
Maintaining financial systems and reporting tools
Identifying opportunities to improve finance processes

To be successful in this role, you will have 5+ years’ accounting experience and be a robust all-round accountant with solid month-end, reconciliations and reporting experience. Strong hands-on SAP experience is essential. You will be organised, reliable, have robust attention to detail and be confident working independently and across the wider business. You will ideally be immediately available or on one week’s notice.
