About the Role

As a Cleaning Services Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining a protected, clean, and welcoming environment for our residents, staff, and visitors. Working in a residential aged care setting, you’ll be responsible for cleaning resident rooms, shared living areas, and facilities while consistently meeting high standards of hygiene and infection control.

This is a casual position. We’re seeking a reliable and dependable team member who is flexible to work a rotating roster. You’ll take pride in your work and understand the importance of creating a comfortable, home-like environment for our residents.

No two days are the same! As Cleaning Services Assistant, you will:
Clean and sanitise resident rooms, bathrooms, and shared living areas in line with infection control standards
Maintain cleanliness of common areas, including lounges, dining rooms, corridors, and staff areas
Safely handle, use,



and store cleaning chemicals and equipment according to workplace procedures
Dispose of waste and manage linen in accordance with hygiene and safety guidelines
Follow cleaning schedules and workplace procedures to ensure consistent, high-quality standards
