Role Description The Insurance Broker role is a full time, in office position based in Sydney, NSW. In this role, the broker will consult with business clients to understand their operations, assess risk exposure, and recommend appropriate insurance products and coverage structures. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing quotes, placing cover with insurers, managing policy renewals, and handling endorsements and adjustments. The broker will respond to client inquiries, support claims processes, and maintain accurate documentation in line with regulatory and internal compliance requirements. The role also involves nurturing client relationships, identifying opportunities for improved coverage or cost efficiencies,



and collaborating with team members to deliver consistent, high-quality service.

Qualifications
Strong expertise in Insurance Brokerage and Insurance, with the ability to advise business clients on suitable coverage and risk management options.
Solid understanding of Finance and related concepts to interpret business risk, insurance costs, and policy terms.
Excellent Customer Service skills, including clear communication, active listening, and relationship management.
Knowledge of Retirement Planning or other long-term risk and financial solutions is beneficial for supporting clients’ broader protection needs.
Relevant industry qualifications (e.g., Tier 1 or Tier 2 in Insurance Broking, or equivalent) and familiarity with Australian insurance regulations.
Proven ability to work accurately with documentation and systems, including policy administration and CRM tools.
Robust analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and sound judgment under time constraints.
Prior experience in commercial insurance or business-to-business advisory roles is highly desirable.

Salary: Starting $80,000 - commensurate on experience.
