We are seeking an Electrical Project Manager to join our team!

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join a well-established and respected name in the WA electrical industry, with over 30 years' experience across residential, commercial, and industrial sectors. Working within the commercial division, this role offers genuine variety across new build, refurbishment, fit-out, and maintenance contracts, along with the autonomy to manage projects end-to-end and work directly with client representatives on site.

What you'll be doing?

- Managing day-to-day project operations: Overseeing the delivery of projects and maintenance contracts, ensuring smooth day-to-day operational management.
- Preparing scopes of works: Developing scope of works, budgets, and cost plans to support project delivery.
- Monitoring construction programmes: Keeping projects on track by closely monitoring construction programmes.
- Producing safety and risk plans: Preparing OH&S; plans and contract risk assessment plans to ensure safe and compliant project delivery.
- Overseeing reporting and resourcing: Taking direct control of reporting, monitoring labour, materials, plant and equipment, and directing electrical supervisors.
- Supporting apprentice development: Monitoring and supporting apprentices as part of the broader project team.
- Managing subcontractors: Directing subcontractors and overseeing contractual compliance across projects.
- Controlling project budgets: Monitoring and controlling all budgeted project expenditure, ensuring accurate financial records are maintained.
- Building client relationships: Engaging directly with client representatives on site, maintaining strong, positive working relationships.
- Attending site meetings:



Representing the project team at site meetings as required.

Who are they looking for?

- Current Electrical 'A' Grade Licence: A current Electrical 'A' Grade Licence is essential for this role. Candidates with engineering qualifications but without an Electrical A-Grade Licence will not be considered.
- Proven project management experience: Prior experience in a similar Electrical Project Manager role, ideally delivering fast-track projects and maintenance contracts.
- Strong technical and maintenance background: A solid technical background along with maintenance knowledge, both of which are highly valued in this role.
- Project portfolio and value details: The ability to provide details of previous projects, including project value within the electrical contract.
- Relevant project type experience: Experience across one or more of the following project types is highly regarded: healthcare and medical facilities (hospitals, aged care), apartments, schools, offices, shopping malls, rail, and multi-storey buildings.
- Self-motivated and positive: A proactive, self-motivated approach combined with a positive attitude.
