The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Breakdown Coordinator to work collaboratively to deliver high-quality environmental solutions and results at Pembroke Resource’s new autonomous project in the Bowen Basin - the Olive Downs Complex.

Pembroke Resources’ Olive Downs Complex is an exciting autonomous mine project located 80 km south-east of Moranbah, with mining operations that started mid-2023. Thiess proudly delivers full-service mining operations, including mine planning, overburden removal, drill and blast, autonomous load and haul, water management, rehabilitation, and the construction of mine infrastructure.

Camp is located at Civeo Coppabella, with bus transport provided daily from camp to site. A bus service is also available for locals, making it easy to join our team and be part of this world-class operation.

Roster: 7:7 Location: Olive Downs Complex, Bowen Basin, QLD | Employment Type: Full Time

As the Breakdown Coordinator, you will:

- Receive communications from the drill controllers and allocate support labour to repair autonomous drills
- Comply with all reasonable management instructions and directions as issued by Supervisor
- Create work orders for unplanned field events and capture all repair information in JDE
- Identifying system configuration anomalies and reporting back to OEM

About you

- Current Coal Board Medical, Standard 11 and Driver's License




- Relevant machinery evidence (SSE/ RII certificates)
- Has well-developed/robust computer skills e.g., Microsoft suite, Internet Explorer, Email etc.
- Demonstrates a rapid understanding of information presented and uses it to support decision-making and problem-solving.
- Adapts to change and manages pressure effectively whilst maintaining a positive outlook.
- Follows all directions and procedures related to the role in order to ensure a safe and productive work environment
