Peninsula Palms Aged and Community Services (Peninsula Palms) is seeking to appoint a permanent full-time Finance Manager.

Peninsula Palms is a ministry of Mueller Community Church. It is co-located with the church, Mueller College, and its Early Learning Centre in Rothwell on the Redcliffe Peninsula.

Peninsula Palms comprises a Residential Care Facility with 65 beds and a Retirement Village with 103 Independent Living Units. It seeks to provide high-quality care in a distinctively Christian workplace.

The role

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer and Peninsula Palms Manager, the Finance Manager will be responsible for:

- Leading accounting, financial management, budgeting, reporting and compliance.

- Managing independent living unit sales and facilitating the administration of resident admissions and departures.

- Overseeing resident accommodation funding, payroll and accounts.

- Coordinating the catering,



cleaning and laundry teams.

About the successful applicant

The successful applicant will have:

- A degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance or Business, together with either a CPA or Chartered Accountant qualification (or equivalent), or significant demonstrated experience.

- At least five years' experience in accounting, finance or business management.

- Advanced Excel skills, together with strong communication and presentation skills.

- A commitment to the values, mission and resident-centred philosophy of Peninsula Palms.

- A current National Police Check (a condition of employment).
