An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Production Technician to join a high-performing engineering team developing advanced airborne vision, sensing and detection systems for both manned and unmanned aircraft platforms. Working on cutting-edge aerospace technologies, you will play a key role in the assembly, integration and testing of complex electro-mechanical systems used in real-world operational environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Assemble and integrate aerospace-grade camera pod systems and electronic assemblies.
- Support prototype development, production builds and engineering activities.
- Perform subsystem testing, troubleshooting and rework where required.
- Conduct incoming goods inspections and inventory management activities.
- Maintain build records, manufacturing documentation and traceability requirements.
- Work closely with engineers to support product development and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Follow quality procedures and manufacturing processes aligned with ISO9001 and AS9100 standards.
- Ensure high levels of workmanship, quality and attention to detail are maintained throughout the production lifecycle.

What You'll Need to Succeed

- Previous experience in a Production Technician, Assembly Technician,



Electronics Technician or Manufacturing Technician role.
- Strong hands-on experience assembling, integrating or testing electronic and electro-mechanical systems.
- Experience working within regulated quality environments such as ISO9001, AS9100 or similar.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, work instructions and manufacturing documentation.
- Strong organisational skills and experience maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Experience supporting low-volume, high-value manufacturing or engineering programs.
- Australian Citizenship is mandatory.

Highly Desirable

- Aerospace, Defence or advanced manufacturing experience.
- Experience supporting R&D;, engineering prototypes or new product introduction activities.
- Exposure to optical systems, sensor technologies, airborne payloads or electro-mechanical assemblies.
- Inventory control, stores or incoming goods inspection experience.
