The Opportunity

We're seeking an experienced Retail Buyer with strong industry connections, excellent commercial instincts and a proven ability to identify winning products.

You'll take ownership of sourcing and developing new products across our key growth categories:

- Home & Living

- Home & Kids

- Kitchenware

- Home Appliances

- Consumer Electronics

We're particularly interested in candidates with established supplier relationships and hands-on buying experience in one or more of these categories.

With extensive sales channels, substantial warehouse capacity and strong operational support, we have the resources to help you turn great product opportunities into commercial success.

Key Responsibilities

Product Sourcing & Category Development

- Identify and source new products with strong sales potential and healthy profit margins.

- Expand product ranges based on market trends, customer demand and competitor analysis.

- Develop commercially attractive product assortments and identify recent category opportunities.

Supplier Relationships & Negotiations

- Leverage existing supplier networks and establish new partnerships.

- Negotiate competitive pricing, trading terms and promotional support.

- Build strong relationships with manufacturers, distributors, wholesalers and brand owners.

- Explore local and international sourcing opportunities.

Commercial Performance & Inventory

- Evaluate buying opportunities based on profitability, sales potential and inventory turnover.

- Develop purchasing plans and monitor product performance.





- Work closely with sales, marketplace and logistics teams to ensure successful product launches.

- Optimise inventory investment while minimising slow-moving stock.

About You

We're looking for a commercially minded Retail Buyer who knows how to find great products and negotiate great deals.

You'll ideally bring:

- Proven experience as a Retail Buyer, Category Buyer, or Category Manager.

- Direct buying experience in at least one of our target product categories.

- Established supplier contacts and industry relationships within the Australian retail or wholesale market.

- A successful track record in product sourcing, range development and commercial negotiations.

- Strong understanding of retail pricing, profit margins and inventory management.

- Excellent analytical, communication and negotiation skills.

- A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently and deliver results.

Experience with major Australian retailers, distributors, brand owners or e-commerce businesses will be highly regarded.
