The role
You'll be the General Manager's main operational partner. You'll be accountable for turning every property around on time and to standard, keeping costs under control, and running the back office properly. You'll lead from the front, not from behind a desk.

What you'll own

- Housekeeping and property readiness: cleaner rostering and coverage, training and onboarding, quality standards, and the labour cost and productivity numbers behind them.

- Warehouse and inventory: stock levels, usage benchmarks, supplier arrangements and spend approval. You'll track shrinkage and equipment downtime and fix the cause.

- Finance and admin: you'll be the operational link to finance, keeping processes accurate, on time and compliant, including support for trust accounting.

- Operational leadership: you'll plan for daily, weekly and seasonal demand, see risks coming, and make the call when things go sideways. That includes peak periods, staff shortages and out-of-hours escalations.

- Continuous improvement: you'll write SOPs that teams actually follow, lead system adoption,



and help build an operation that scales.

What you'll bring

- 3+ years in an operations management role in hotels, serviced apartments, short-stay accommodation, facilities or a similar multi-site service business.

- A track record of leading housekeeping or frontline service teams and improving quality and cost together.

- Confidence with labour cost reporting, budgets and financial controls. Trust accounting exposure is a plus.

- Calm, decisive judgement under pressure, and comfort being the escalation point.

- Strong systems capability. You make tools work for the team.

- A current driver's licence and the flexibility for out-of-hours support.
