Senior HVAC Service Technician

New Edge Group is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced Senior HVAC Service Technician who wants to be part of a service business that’s building for the future.

Working across a diverse range of commercial and industrial sites throughout Sydney, you’ll take ownership of your work, solve technical problems and deliver a level of service you can be proud of.

What you'll be doing

As a Senior HVAC Service Technician, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality service across our Sydney customer base, including:





- Planned and preventative HVAC maintenance

- Diagnosing complex faults and carrying out repairs

- Responding to reactive breakdowns

- Identifying issues and recommending practical solutions

- Attending full-function fire tests alongside our experienced certifiers

- Communicating professionally with customers, site contacts and the New Edge service team

- Managing your work autonomously and taking ownership from start to finish

- Sharing your knowledge and experience across the wider service team

- Participating in a rotating on-call roster

- Travelling to customer sites throughout the Sydney region

What we're looking for

- Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration

- Current Refrigerant Handling Licence

- Current Australian Driver's Licence

- Working with Children Check and Police Check, or willingness to obtain them

- Strong experience servicing and maintaining commercial HVAC systems

- Advanced diagnostic and fault-finding skills

- Strong communication and customer service skills

- The ability to work independently while also contributing to a strong team environment

- A professional approach and a willingness to take ownership of customer outcomes

Experience across commercial, industrial, education, health and retail environments will be highly regarded.
