Be Part of Something New and Meaningful!

Stromlo Forest Anglican College is growing, and we're looking for passionate, dedicated and enthusiastic educators to join our Early Education and OSHC teams in 2027.

Whether your passion is working with our youngest learners or supporting school-aged children, this is an opportunity to become part of a connected educational community.

Together, our programs support children from their early years through their primary school journey, creating environments where children feel safe, valued, included and inspired to learn.

As part of our growing team, you'll have the opportunity to help shape our culture, build meaningful relationships and contribute to programs where both children and educators feel a strong sense of belonging and being.

About the Roles

We have opportunities across both our Early Education and OSHC programs.

Early Education: Supporting children's learning, development and curiosity through meaningful play, exploration, relationships and intentional teaching. Through the Reggio Amelia philosophy we are building a School that focuses on play and providing children with a rich and diverse learning environment.

OSHC: Creating engaging, inclusive and welcoming experiences that support school-aged children's friendships, independence, creativity and wellbeing before and after school and during school holidays.

Across both programs, you'll contribute to:

- Building positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.

- Creating safe, inclusive and engaging environments.

- Supporting children's voices, interests, independence and wellbeing.

- Planning meaningful experiences that encourage learning and development.

- Contributing to a collaborative, reflective and supportive team culture.

What You'll Bring

- Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education and Care or School-Age Education and Care, or willingness to work towards a qualification where applicable.

- An understanding of children's learning, development and wellbeing.

- Strong communication and teamwork skills.

- A genuine commitment to supporting children and inclusive education.

- A positive, proactive and team-oriented approach.

- A commitment to ongoing learning and professional growth.

- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training, or willingness to obtain as required.

- A patience, empathy and flexibility.

Child Safety

The school is committed to the safety and wellbeing of all children. The Student Support Assistant must:

- Hold a valid Working with Vulnerable People registration

- Complete all mandatory child safety training

- Adhere to all child protection policies and reporting requirements

Why Join Us?

- Be part of a growing team helping shape two connected programs.

- Work within a purpose-built Early Education School and welcoming school environment.

- Join a supportive, values-driven school community.
