Located in Bibra Lake, Nexus Recycling operates a best practice battery recycling facility recycling lead acid batteries used in Australia.
A production role in our battery breaking plant is available. The position is Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm, 38 hours per week.
Qualities required to be successful in this position are:
- Able to work independently and as a team to achieve targets
- Moderate level of fitness as the position involves manual work
- Ability to perform heavy lifting of 20kg or more as required by the role
- Good level of hazard awareness
- Valuable hygiene practices and clean shaven for respirator use
- Driver's license
- Forklift license
While not essential the following would be of benefit:
- Experience working in hot environments
- Some experience using a respirator
- Mechanical aptitude
