Business Development Manager – Earthworks & Civil

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Business Development Manager to join our growing earthworks business.

This is an exciting opportunity for a driven individual with strong industry connections and a proven ability to identify new business opportunities, build lasting client relationships and drive company growth.

Working closely with management, you will play a key role in expanding our client base, securing new projects and developing opportunities across the mining, resources, civil construction and earthworks sectors.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and pursue recent business opportunities across the mining, resources and civil sectors.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Generate leads and actively seek out new projects and contracts.
- Prepare and present tenders, proposals and client quotations.
- Attend client meetings, industry events and networking opportunities.
- Maintain regular communication with clients to identify upcoming project requirements.
- Work alongside management and operations teams to ensure client requirements are understood and achievable.




- Monitor industry activity and identify opportunities for business growth.

About You

- Previous experience in business development, sales or client relationship management.
- Proven Business Development Experience within the earthworks, civil construction, mining or resources industries is highly regarded.
- Established industry contacts and the ability to build new business relationships.
- Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Confident identifying opportunities and converting leads into successful contracts.
- Self-motivated, organised and results-driven.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a growing team.
