IBWTECH Australia Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Developer Programmer to join its technology team in Bowral, NSW.

The successful candidate will contribute to the design, development, implementation, testing and maintenance of software applications and technology solutions to support business operations and technical requirements.

We are looking for a motivated software development professional with practical programming experience, strong analytical capabilities and the ability to develop reliable and efficient software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyse business and technical requirements and translate them into software specifications and functional solutions.
- Design, develop, modify and maintain software applications and computer programs.
- Develop application functionality using programming languages including Java, Python and JavaScript.
- Write, test and maintain efficient, structured and reusable programming code.
- Develop and maintain APIs, application modules and system integrations.
- Design, query and maintain relational databases using SQL.
- Conduct software testing, debugging and troubleshooting to identify and resolve technical issues.
- Investigate software defects and implement appropriate corrective solutions.
- Review existing software applications and recommend improvements to functionality, performance and reliability.
- Participate in software deployment, implementation, upgrades and ongoing maintenance.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, programming specifications and development records.




- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and technical team members to deliver software development outcomes.

Essential Qualifications, Skills and Experience

Applicants should demonstrate:

- Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience in software development or programming.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant qualified experience.
- Practical programming knowledge and experience in Java, Python and JavaScript.
- Experience working with SQL and relational database management systems.
- Knowledge of software development methodologies, programming principles and application architecture.
- Experience in application testing, debugging and technical troubleshooting.
- Ability to analyse requirements and develop appropriate software solutions.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and technical communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a technical team.

Remuneration and Employment Conditions

- Annual base salary between AUD $90,000 and AUD $110,000, depending on qualifications, skills and relevant experience.
- Superannuation paid in addition to the advertised salary.
- Full time, permanent employment.
